This review is from: The Case of the Missing Cat (Hank the Cowdog) (Audio CD)
It starts with an honest game of checkerless-checkers between Pete and Drover, erupts into the Case of the Lumberpile Bunny and loops right around to Rip and Snort playing checkerless-checkers in the desert. We witness the turnover of the job of Head of Ranch Security and wonder just how many ways Pete can run circles around the ex-chief. Who will find the missing cat? and how did Pete go missing in the first place? Get yourself a girdle 'cause you won't be able to hold your side. All newby Hank fans need to read the first 4 books in order to really pin down the characters, but when that's done, this should be your first choice. Side-splitting, tongue-biting, can't-catch-your-breath humor from the first scene to the last. Even your 84-year-old father will be reminiscing about it years later. This is one show even Eddie the Rac can't steal.
