5.0 out of 5 stars Th Case of the Bear Scare, October 27, 2003
A Kid's Review
The Case of the Bear Scare by James Preller is part of the Jigsaw Jones Mystery series. The book The Case of the Bear Scare is a five star book. I don't want to give it away, but I will tell you a little about it. The main characters are String Bean Noonan, Jigsaw, Mila, Lucy, and kind of Lightning Lou. Jigsaw and Mila, the main characters are detectives. Lucy is the person who needs help. String Bean Noonan is all three of their friends. Lightning Lou is an Australian guy. He is supposed to be the crocodile hunter, but not in this story. Lightning Lou is coming to town for a bear mystery for his show. He came to Jigsaw's school and had an assembly. When Lightning left he threw his hat into Jigsaw's lap. A few days later Jigsaw got a call from Lucy. Jigsaw called Mila and got to Lucy's house. Lucy peeked out the door and quickly called them in. She said there was a bear in her backyard but wasn't sure....
Now it's up to you to read the last few chapters and figure out the mystery. Once again the book The Case of the Bear Scare is a five star book!!!!!

Oh no! Lucy thinks she has a bear in her backyard. Can this be true? She calls Jigsaw and he calls Mila. They are both detectives. They hurry to get to Lucy's house. When they get there they ring the bell and Lucy peeks out the window. She says that there is a bear. They call Lightning Lou and say that they have a perfect mystery for his show. While Lightning gets there they check out some evidence. When Lighning gets there he asks where to look. Can this be true? You should read the ending and I know you won't regret it. You can this this book at your public library or your school library. Remember this is a % star book
