I was hoping for a model for conducting a case study. This is definitely not it. This is an academic discussion of sociology-based case studies. It may be just what some were looking for, but it is not the manual on how to do a case study.

Avoid this book, save your money,

This review is from: Case Study Methods (Qualitative Research Methods) (Paperback)
This is the absolute worst book on case studies I have ever seen. And, I have read many. Better books to buy would by primarily Yin (1994). While the publication date on Yin is old, it is a seminole work and referenced by most others in the field. Two more recent and good books are by Sharan B. Merriam 2001 and by Foster, Gomm and Hammersly (2000). ...Seriously, avoid this book.... I gave 1 star only because the system doesn't allow zero stars.
