The Good:
There's no risk or concern of the iPad falling out of this. Protection is good. It's both scratch protection and padding.

The inside material is a microfiber fuzz. Very soft and protects the iPad finish very well.

The lid folds half or all the way back, allowing it to be a raised keyboard, or to stand vertically for reading. It's not crisp, but it doesn't wobble much.

The Mediocre:
It's not actually rubberized canvas. The product is a spun polyester fiber, hot-wire cut, stitched on the edges, then rubberized. The rubberization is stamped to look vaguely like miniature diamond plate. Overall, materials are decent for the price.

The edges are a little tight, which makes the iPad1 slide towards the flap opening, whether it's flap-side down or not. Because of this, the anything plugged into the dock port gets side pressure. Small accessories like a GPS or charger cable often are pushed enough to unplug them half way. The lid doesn't REALLY close properly due to this, even after mashing quite hard to get the iPad back into the sleeve.

There's an elastic strap to hold the cover open or closed, but it's not really convenient.

The Disappointing:
There are no sleeves, pockets or pouches to stuff a headset or charger cable. The back flap is too tight to put a piece of paper, but maybe an envelope or a card could go in.

The light sensor is blocked on the top edge where there would be a camera on the iPad2.

Does not come with a screen protector.

The edge where the flap is stitched to the pocket is already losing the rubber coating after only 2 weeks.

Summary:
No frills, works OK, but there's got to be something better. Maybe I have to make something better.

Very happy with this cover. Does what it's suppose to do and looks great. Does take a while to get the ipad to fit perfectly but had a similar issue with the Apple black cover. I've had it two weeks now and still very happy as it fits easily in my bag. Color works well as i love purple and my wife has an ipad too with a black cover so we now know who's is who?

Case was bulky and didn't auto shut off the iPad and I wasn't able to use either camera. I ended up purchasing a different case.

This case works great and looks great too! No issues at all, got just what I wanted. Makes a great gift

I purchased this purple iPad case because I was tired of my black one. My old case was perfectly good, but the purple one just grabbed my eye. I have an iPad bag that I carry every day and I was concerned about the bulk of the case and having it not fit in my bag. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit very well.

About the case - The color is vibrant and exactly as advertised but maybe a tad thicker than I expected. I have one game that I play more than most and the undo button is in the bottom left corner. With the thickness of the case, it takes a more deliberate move to fit my finger into the corner (waaaaa). It also makes the power button a bit less accessable, but with my longish nails, it hasn't impacted me a great deal.

Although I like the case and am pleased with my purchase, the one thing that will keep me from buying another like it is the flap that the cover fits into for keeping the iPad upright. The flap isn't deep enough to provide a secure fit. The fabric of the case is such that it is non-skid on most surfaces and when you try to move the iPad to adjust it closer, it pulls the cover out of the flap and the iPad collapses. Such a tiny design flaw - but one that could be easily rectified.

The color is fun and, since I'm not a high-powered user, suitable to my needs.

I've been using this cover for several weeks and it is great. It's very sturdy and of good quality. I also love the color- metallic purple :) I gave it four stars because there is one minor issue I have with it. The part that frames the iPad does not lay perfectly flat against it, it sort of curls. But I still feel that my iPad is very well protected and am very happy with this cover overall. I may get another in silver if I ever do get tired of the purple, lol!
