It's perfect for the mini 9.

Kinda makes you look like you're carrying a purse.
Front Pouch holds a lot of stuff (see my pictures in the 'Customer Images' section of this product page).

This case is perfect and of great quality. The front pouch is perfect for the peripherals such as power supply and mini-mouse.

I tried a number of cases for my mini 9 before finding this one, which is just perfect! The pocket on the front is large enough to fit the plug and a couple of other wires, it is well put together and comfortable to carry - I highly recommend it.

This case fits the Dell 9" Mini perfectly. It's really well thought out in almost every detail: all the ports are accessible on both sides when the case is unzipped, so the netbook is fully usable while still in the case. There are 4 straps that hold the netbook in the case, and the 2 that grip the screen are clear, so no part of the screen is obscured. It's nicely padded, just the right size, and adds very little weight to the Mini. The outside compartment has just barely enough room for the AC adaptor and a mouse (with a bit of a bulge), and maybe a USB stick or two. About the only flaw I could find is that there are no loops on the outside where one could attach a neck strap. The only way of carrying it is by the handles at the top, like a tiny briefcase. (A friend asked me, with raised eyebrows, "Is that a handbag you're carrying?" So guys, if you're not confident in your masculinity, you might want to think twice about this case.) I think it is a terrific addition to the Dell Mini.

This is a great little case for a dell mini 9. It is made of "leather look" vinyl and has relatively thick foam padding inside both the main compartment and the smaller compartment. The case holds the mini well, but there are a few things worth mentioning:

1. The case smells a bit when you first open it up. It has a chemical smell that goes away with time. Not a big deal.

2. The straps that hold the mini in place are elastic on the bottom and clear plastic at the top. Time will tell how well they wear. I suspect that the elastic bottom bands will get loose over time.

3. There is a small cushion in the back of the case that puts the notebook at a good angle for typing. If you prefer to type with your notebook flat, you cannot remove the cushion without cutting it out with a knife.

4. The zippers are heavy gauge, and made of steel. They will likely outlive the vinyl exterior of the case!

All-in-all I am very pleased with this case. It keeps my mini secure. One reviewer said it looks like a purse when being carried. I think it looks more like a book case for a Bible. If you're a guy like me, don't worry; you will not be mistaken for a purse carrier!

Its not as good as I expected. Good sewing and padding, and it looks like those clear straps at the top are okay, maybe, but I don't think the clear plastic straps or the zippers are good quality. I've put zipper lube on the new zippers because the zippers stuck and had to be manipulated at each of the two corners the zippers need to go around to open and close the case, and one of the zippers jams from time to time in the middle of a straight run. It's one of those zippers that you just know is going to jam or come apart in the middle before it should. I'll keep the case, but because of the zippers I would not recommend this case for the price its being sold at. It is barely worth the $25.00. (And of course, Amazon put the packing list for someone else in the box...for an iPod. Wow.)

This bag fits the Dell Mini 9 just perfectly and is a great value for the price. While the front pouch is a little tight for the power cord, this keeps the power cord from sliding around as you carry the case. As to the retaining straps, I do not use them as I prefer to remove the Mini 9 from the case to allow it to breathe and avoid heat buildup. And, to those who complain that it does not fit their Asus, why did you buy a bag that is made for the DELL Mini 9 and then gripe that it does not fit your Asus? If you have a DELL Mini 9 you will appreciate this bag. If you have something else, buy a bag made for your machine!

If you don't already own a Dell Mini 9 you should. It's a great machine.

This bag is fine, but it really wasn't designed specifically for the mini9. There are straps inside but they do nothing to secure the computer like any good laptop bag should. Be sure to place the bag on a table first before opening, and check to make sure it's zipped up before lifting!

My other complaint is that it was almost real work to shove the power cord into the accessory pocket. It does fit but barely.. And I do suggest opening the bag's plastic packaging in an open-air environment. The artificial leather does give off some fumes on the initial open.

Overall the bag is not perfect but does fit the Mini 9 and its power cord for a reasonable price.

I'm not wild about the vinyl exterior of this case, but I have to admit the carrying handles and external pocket are very useful features which outweigh my objection to the vinyl. The mini can be used easily without removing it from this case due to the elastic corner straps (clear plastic on the monitor side) and cushioned bar (which elevates the rear of the mini for easier typing) and the padding provides very ample protection. I'd like to see this product offered with additional exterior options (different colors or materials)--then it might rate a 5!

This case is just what I needed to protect my new Mini 9 for motorcycle travel and everyday use. The memory foam is perfect for shielding the Mini from bumps and scratches and cleans off easily with a damp cloth.
The pocket is just right for the power cord, a cordless optical mouse (I'm not a big fan of touchpads) and an thumb drive to augment the Mini's 8GB SSD.
The workmanship is excellent.
You can spend more for leather and more carrying capacity, but if efficiency and traveling light are your goals, this is an excellent choice.
