This is a great cover for your Kindle Fire. Even though it is not leather, it feels like it is. I ordered the $40 leather cover as well and they felt about the same. This cover stands the Kindle nicely on its own (on its side) which the more expensive cover would not(it kept falling). It has a nice magnetic closure (rather than clunky elastic). All in all -- great value for the money.

I went back and forth on a bunch of cases that I desired for my soon to own Kindle Fire. I purchased then canceled a lot of covers until finding this one. It had the color that I wanted which was nice and I was glad that it could stand in two different ways as the pictures illustrated. I went with this case and it arrived on the 15th, the same day as the Kindle Fire. It was packaged well and it fit the Kindle Fire snuggly. On the left side there is a small velcro wedge that fits against the case to secure the device in. It doesn't get in the way at all and it doesn't add weight to the already weighty Kindle Fire. Overall I am very happy I chose this particular case. I may buy another in a different color but for now I'm going to stay with my purple casecrown.
