I was excited for this case to use with my new iPad, as I use a similar one for my Kindle and love it. However, I don't love it with the iPad. The cover is nice, it fits very well, stands up for viewing just like the pictures show. But somehow it's just not the right case for me. The light sensor on iPad is covered by he case, and sometimes I physically pull iPad out a small ways so that the Sensor is out and my screen noticeably brightens. Also the back button arrow at the top left of the iPad screen is so close to the edge of the case that it feels awkward. These are minor things I know, the case is good protection and I will probably use it for travel, but for everyday I am getting something with a grippier feel and smaller footprint.

My iPad kept falling out the upper opening so I had to buy a different case. Also, the clasp at the bottom kept getting in the way.

I loved the color of this cover... the blue is rich and elegant. The leather was nice quality and the case does seem to hold the iPad securely.
I had one complaint while using the cover though. The snap flap that closes the cover is on the back cover and flops over the Menu button and the bottom bit of the screen when in use. A minor complaint, but it was enough in the way for my use of the Menu button and extremely annoying when trying to read on my iPad with that flap resting on the screen covering some of the words. I assume with time, the leather would have softened up enough to bend the flap backwards and tuck underneath.
