Excellent Resource, November 6, 2006
This review is from: The Cash Flow Management Book for Nonprofits: A Step-by-Step Guide for Managers and Boards (Paperback)
I have found this book to be very helpful and easy to understand. We have developed new cash flow reports that have been invaluable to our staff and board. I would highly recommend this book to others in the nonprofit business.

Great book for the medium sized (and larger) non-profit, April 6, 2009
This review is from: The Cash Flow Management Book for Nonprofits: A Step-by-Step Guide for Managers and Boards (Paperback)
This book covers a lot about how to set up a formal budgeting process and how cash flow forecasts differ from an accrual accounting process. It also covers the many different types of income a non-profit might receive and how those should be dealt with differently. I got this because I am starting a non-profit and we are VERY small right now, but need to know how to make sure we are managing our cash flows and had hoped for some more information on taxation of funds. They only go into taxation a little and the book goes into very formal ways to set up a budgeting process. It is definitely geared more towards a medium and larger sized non-profit, but its all good info for the future. I wouldn't necessarily recommend for a small non-profit that is just starting up.
