More About the Author

Attorney Mark Hitchcock thought his career was set after graduating from law school in 1984 and getting a job working with a judge at the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. But after what Mark calls a "clear call to full-time ministry," he changed course and went to Dallas Theological Seminary, completing a masters degree in 1991 and a doctoral degree in 2006. Since 1991 Mark has served as senior pastor of Faith Bible Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. There is no doubt that the ideas behind Mark Hitchcock's look into the future are scary. But they are not ideas he has conjured up on his own. He uses the word of God and Bible prophecy to show us just how God tells us the end times will be. It is very clarifying and shocking to look at the examples he gives of how our economic world is being molded by God's hands into the exact end He predicted. And honestly, it all makes perfect sense. I had actually personally considered several of the topics Hitchcock covers before reading the book. They are all very obvious and sensible topics we encounter in our everyday lives - the author simply shows us how it all applies to Bible prophecy.

As Hitchcock explains, although the topics of economic events happening in our world are not all necessarily bad or scary, the end result of the antichrist being able to control us through our financial lives surely is. But read the whole book and realize that if you accept Christ as your Savior and plan to be with him after the rapture, then this book is simply an interesting look at how God's plan is unfolding. A comfort and a reassurance that the Bible is real and true.

A truly fascinating read. Ideas in this book are clear, easy to understand, and so intriguing. Glad to know I will be with God before the mark of the beast is put into use! Thanks Mark for a great read!

A friend recommended the writings of this author. I am fascinated, apprehensive, but also comforted in the knowledge that Christians will be raptured before the worst of the future begins. Mark makes very compelling arguments to set for his case, all backed by Scriptures. It is an easy read about a difficult subject, so I applaud him. Get it. Tell your family and friends to get it. Give it as a gift, which I plan to do. These days, what better gift to give than the gift of being forewarned! What's that saying? Without knowledge the people perish (or something to that effect)?

One of many End Times books available, Mark Hitchcock's Cashless doesn't offer much original theory. He does, however, put the ideas together in a logical format.
Hitchcock is detailed in his explanations, sometimes overly so, but in restating points made by his numerous sources, he does conclude this book in a clear & concise manner. I found the appendices to be most helpful in sequencing the current thoughts on this subject.
In spite of it's shortcomings, this book may be the best available on the subject due to Hitchcock's all-inclusive approach.

This is one of my favorite non-fiction books. It offers a real, but terrfying look into the not too distant future. While many are on edge right now, this book does little to stir them up. It doesn't try to add fuel to the fire, or put things in people's heads. Rather, it merely takes the facts and presents them in a clear, concise way. It also makes a good reference material, and answers many important questions that are typically not addressed in church or any place else. It is a must read for those who are interested in Revelation. Have a Bibe handy because cross-referencing is required. Also, be ready to get scared especially if you follow current events. When you apply this book, nothing is mentioned that has not happened or is happening. This should be a must read for anyone who takes God, the Bible, and ultimatly his or her very souls seriously.

I have to agree, Mr. Hitchcock didn't bring much "new" to the table with what he discussed in the book but he did put it into some kind of table, order that made it so much easier to understand, and thereby doing this made it much comforting - knowing that I will be out of here when He calls me home - along with my family.
Please get right with God, and if your hear after the Rapture, and shh, the media will tell you it was alliens that took us, please look at this book and your Bible because that is where the answer is. He loves each and every one of us - and know that Jesus came and died for our sins so that we might spend eternity in Heaven.
