Funny, colorful, enjoyable for kids and adults,
By Julie Root (Portland, Oregon USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Cashmere If You Can (Hardcover)
I bought this book on sale and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I bought a second one just waiting for someone I can give it to as a gift. The pages are very colorful. I read it to my 6-month-old daughter and she really looks at the pictures. It is the story of this girl goat who is mistaken for a model and is brought to New York City with her goat family, and hilarity ensues as she is getting ready for her modeling debut. It has good laughs for adults. I particularly enjoyed the pages with the hairdressers and "Jean Paul Goatier". Also funny are some of the obstacles the family of goats encounters in New York. This book is probably not for everyone, but for people with a certain kind of sense of humor, it is definitely worth the money. Not really a lesson to be learned from it, but just a fun, colorful, silly story about a goat in the fashion world!
