I purchased this book specifically for traveling along the I-5 through Washington, Oregon, and California. I found it very helpful in finding safe and acceptable places to stop overnight that didn't cost any money. In fact, I figured we saved more than the purchase price of this book when we stopped for just one night in a beautiful casino in Northern California. Plus, in addition to the free camping spot overnight, we had a wonderful buffet breakfast the next morning for a great price. I would highly recommend this book to any other budget-minded travelers like me!
