Collector's Item,
By
This review is from: Bond on Set: Filming Casino Royale (Hardcover)
This book has some amazing photos from the production of the movie. I believe it is a must-have for any fan of this recent movie and a fantastic piece for your collector's item library. I love the picture on the deskjacket and the same picture is on the book as well. Its worth the price for sure. I do wish there were a few more pictures of Daniel Craig though and not so many of other characters but it is in fact a book of photos from the filming of it so that should be expected. The pics are fantastic though and there are some nice questions/comments asked to Daniel Craig in the back that make it even more interesting.. Awesome book.

Impressive looking Daniel Craig in CASINO ROYALE,
By
This review is from: Bond on Set: Filming Casino Royale (Hardcover)
Photography is a hobby of mine and I found this collection of photographs from CASINO ROYALE to be very insightful. The images are striking, candid and effectively reproduced. This is a quality publication and really makes Daniel Craig look fabulous as James Bond. Craig certainly looks like Ian Fleming's blunt instrument with his rough and roughish looks captured with charismatic fervor in the photographs in this book.

Best Bond,

This review is from: Bond on Set: Filming Casino Royale (Hardcover)
I've always been a Sean Connery Bond man. Some guys are Roger Moore guys...etc..
I even thought Pierce Brosnan was the best since Connery. So when the announcement of Daniel Craig as Bond surfaced I was not too thrilled. But as soon as I saw the movie I was sold! If not actually better than Connery (I'm still debating), he's right on par with a new take. "Bond on Set" is a great picture essay all about the making of "Casino Royale". It puts you there like a little visit to the set. If you like Bond and if you like the reboot of "Casino Royale", pick it up!

Of all the items out in conjunction with CASINO ROYALE this books ranks amongst the best. The photographs are superb. This book not only captures the mood of CASINO ROYALE but also documents what went one behind the scenes. You get to visually read a lot of what is behind each photo. It is a wonderful book.

Bond On Set: Filming " Casino Royale " by Greg Williams is a sumptuous picture book filled with top of the line art by Greg Williams. The photographs are stunning, some for their stillness and others for their kinetic force.
Mr. Williams gets right in under the belly of the machine as "Casino Royale" was filmed and grabs shots that a Bond fan can only dream of. Fine hard work has paid off in his dedication to the chronicling of this film. Of very special interest are the comments made by star Daniel Craig about each photograph and what memories they bring up. It is obvious that star and photographer understand each other's strengths and needs in working so closely together under what must have been incredible pressure. The volume thin though it may be is indeed a small treasure of the meeting of a photo-journalist and artist and the huge cinematic charisma that is Daniel Craig.

This stylish coffee table book is filled with stunning color and black and white behind the scenes shots. The book also contains concise and interesting commentary about the filming of Casino Royale and its various cast members, Daniel Craig in particular. I could not resist buying this book. Not only is Daniel Craig my favorite actor, but I also collect film/cinematography books.

I loved it,

This review is from: Bond on Set: Filming Casino Royale (Hardcover)
Bond on Set was my Christmas present to myself and I was not disappointed. It's a terrific little memoir of the filiming of Casino Royale. Daniel Craig is extremely photogenic and the shots of him getting ready for his scenes or resting in between shots are great. I especially liked the photos of how scenes were actually done and the two page pictures of Bond's fleet footed adversary were stunning. That guy is in incredible shape. I am very happy witht this purchase.
