I'm giving this baby 5 stars for doing so much, so well, for so little $$$. I really like the light button on the top (much easier to access while driving) compared to the li'l button on the side of most Casios. The digits light up without lighting up the whole watch (nice in a darkened theater). It is super simple to use and doesn't look like some kind of space kid's watch or Rambo-wannabe watch. I lost my first one, so I'm back to Amazon for number 2. I might even pick up a spare since products these days seem to change so rapidly (and not always for the better). The previous reviewer dissed this fine watch because it was not large enough. Man, I love this watch because it isn't too big. So many of the Mens sport watches these days seem to be a obnoxious cross between a hockey puck and a bar of soap with a wrist strap. It's a time piece. I don't need to call attention to myself with its ginormousness, nor do I want to be banging it on all manner of obstructions due to its bloated proportions. Bravo to Casio for getting this one right. Great watch for a great price!

This black plastic and resin watch is a good, inexpensive, fairly durable, everyday-type watch. Not too gawdy. Not too many weird functions, just very practical.

Its multi-functions, like the dual stop watches, are not only good for sports acivities, but come in handy for everyday use. It also has all of the regular watch functions of dates, alarms, lighted dial, dual times, etc., that you can use for your daily activties from work to recreation to timing steaks on the BBQ, to even telling time very accurately.

This watch is low profiled and not bulky like some gimicky watches and does not get in the way of work or sport activities. It is waterproof enough to do the dishes, wash the car or water ski. It is durable enough to last a couple years, but is inexpensive enough not to have to "baby" it so you can afford to replace it if something does happen by accident before it eventually wears out due to use.

I accidentally knocked my first Casio #93H-1AV off a second-floor shelf down onto the first-floor tile below and broke its case after two-and-a-half years of working perfectly through all of my strenuous work/sports activities.

I bought TWO this time and put one away in a safe place, just in case they discontinue this model down the road -- I don't want to have to settle for another type later on if I need another!

This Casio is great value, good looking, and good size (unisex). The watch has all the features as described by Amazon web site. A pleasure additional feature is that turning on the light by putting the face horizontally and turning the face 40 degree angle to read the time; this feature can be set on/off. Also, it has count-down timer, which is not included in many low-priced digital watches. I paid $19.04. There are some Timex with FLIX system to turn on the light by one arm (flicking), but those watch are more expensive (about $40 or higher). Very good low-priced and nice-looking sport watch.

Great watch for the price. Includes all the basic functions I use -- clock, stop watch, alarm, and timer. Excellent for running -- not too bulky. Illuminator makes easy night time viewing. Used to buy the more expensive timex ironman watches but found I never used all the features.

I bought this since the strap on my old timex broke. It works well, and is fairly easy to understand. Nothing special. I particularly like that you can adjust settings either upwards or downwards, meaning you don't have to cycle through 59 minutes to go back one minute.

This watch is light weight and thin. I use this for lap swimming everyday. It has easy to use stop watch. I can program it to beep at every 50 second to check my swimming pace. I like it so much I bought one extra as a backup.

This watch may not be the prettiest, but it has a very well thought out, sensible (practical for day to day use) interface.
The features that make it stand out (at least to me) :

a) The 24hr Countdown timer is within one click (I have it set for 1/2 hour naps and use it daily)
b) The 24hr Stopwatch is within two clicks. This is the most frequently used feature and I am glad it is so high up in the menu; from timing a workout, a run, to cooking ... several times a day I use the stopwatch and it's nice that it takes only two clicks to get to it. Another (rather hidden) feature of the stopwatch is that it can act as a count-up alarm. For example I have it set to beep at the two hour mark telling me its about time to leave the gym ... or you can have it as a repeating alarm throughout the day.

c) There is a shortcut feature for getting back to the time mode. If you navigate to a mode (say countdown) and do anything in it (like starting a countdown), the next mode-click will get you back to the main time screen. You don't have to cycle through all the modes all the time. It doesn't sound much, but this convenience adds up.
d) Pressing the mode button to navigate through the menus makes a beeping sound, and it makes a different beeping sound once you reach the end of the menu and back to the time mode. (You know you got back to the time mode without even looking)
e) The light button is huge and it's at the front of the watch. Very easy to handle (the watch has five buttons overall).

These little, simple, modest, but well thought details may sound trivial, but they add up during heavy daily use. No other Casio model, that I know of, has this particular behavior (they may have more features, but not this menu sequence and behavior). I had to buy two.

You also get an alarm and a dual-time mode. A very simple watch.

Great watch. No need to ever spend more than this in my opinion. Might last years, but if not, no big deal. A small but significant thing, the band is perforated all around, which means it can be worn on a very small wrist, like a child's

This watch is a pretty old model now, but it's everything I love about Casio watches in one unit. It's small with a '90s look, the display is clearly readable. it shows time (with seconds), date, and day of week in a nice minimalist layout (it doesn't have the cluttered face that most digital watches seem to these days).

It has a lot of features that are minor but show attention to usability: The Adjust button must be held for three seconds to change the time, which prevents accidental button presses. It beeps when you cycle through modes, and beeps with a higher tone when you go all the way around back to time. The dual time zone feature is great for people that deal with web servers and applications a lot - I have the second time zone set to UTC for easy reference. It has an hourly chime and alarm option. The timer has convenient features like countdown tones (the watch beeps at 20 minutes left, 15 minutes left, 10 minutes left, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) and automatic repeat. Finally, the automatic light feature seemed like a gimmick to me at first, but it's actually very useful.

This is absolutely my favorite digital watch. it's cheap and it's wonderful.

I have this watch and also a new G-shock, Wave Ceptor, tough solar. I like them both, but this is the only one I ever wear. Looks right, feels right, keeps excellent time. I use the wave ceptor every so often to check atomic time, but I just don't wear it. If the 93H breaks, I'll order another one.
