I'm a woman. But, I haven't worn anything but men's solar-atomic Casios for years. This because:

1) I don't want to mess with batteries.
2) I'm a stickler for accuracy.
3) I'm a watch killer, and Casios are hard to kill.
4) They look good. Many of the mens' styles look great on women, too, for casual or sporty wear.

Though I DO have the challenge of cutting them down to fit a 5.75" wrist.

I don't often wear Casio womens' watches because:

1) They don't have the gadgets and features that I like.
2) There's a dearth of atomic solar models.
3) They aren't made as well.

That being said, I bought this because my last solar-atomic finally gave up the ghost. This looks good, it's durable, and it has all of the features that I want. The 48-city world time function is GREAT! And, I like to have analog AND digital.

I DO love this watch. The ONLY reason I did not give it five stars is I have had it for two weeks, and cannot get it to make a five-minute correction. I haven't been able to get it to pick up the signal.

Good things:
1. I have small wrists and this watch still looks good on me, but I did have to cut about an inch off the end of the band.
2. The atomic clock sync works great. Very cool to watch the analog hands set themselves when you take the watch out of the case for the first time. And solar powered to boot!
3. Just the right functions and no fluff: countdown timer, stopwatch, alarm

Bad things.
1. The digital readouts are the two little circles at 9 and 3 on the inner watch face. This means that at 9:15, the analog hands completely obscure the h:m:s display of the stopwatch. As luck would have it, just about every time I've needed the stopwatch (for timing things cooking on the grill outside), it's been right around 9pm and the hands are in the way.
2. As another reviewer noted, the light only illuminates the dial and the hands. The digital readouts stay dark. That'd be strike 2 against using the stopwatch around 9pm.

Think I'm going to look for an all-digital G-Shock to replace this one... The aesthetics of having an analog readout are great, but not when they (literally) get in the way of the function.

I was enjoying this what, until... something wrong started happening to it. Time regularly resets to 12:00 o'clock, the same thing is with all other info, meaning date and home city code. Battery indicator shows on High level. I tried to do manual time and date adjustment, but still reset back to 12:00, with date and city code. I followed carefully user manual instructions to make sure that I don't miss anything, but all with the same effect. I like the watch for design, for features it has, but for now it gives me hard time, so far it's like I'm about 2 weeks without watch. I live in NJ, manual receiving time is not easy, forget about auto receive. Every time when I try manual receive I get error, even if signal is between two and three bars. I don't know where I have to be to get steady 3 bar signal. For me it would be perfect watch, except this big issue, that make the watch useless.

This seemed to be a fine watch. It arrived quickly and was exactly as it was described to be by the seller. The problem was that I didn't pay enough attention to that description. It was important to me that the watch have auto illumination. This watch does NOT have auto illumination. (which is the light illuminating the face of the watch when you turn your wrist to read it without having to push any buttons.) I know that this feature is not terribly important to some people but is critical to me. My last 2 watches have been Luminox dive watches that have the Taser lighting system. (Luminescent gas filled crystals that glow continuously, and brightly in the dark.) I've become so used to having that hands free lighting that I just can't do without it. I sent this watch back without having worn it in order to look for another Casio with the auto illumination.

Bough this watch as a backup work watch, I've been using a Casio 2818 .Both watches are solar/atomic both are vrey accurate, I wish my dress Rolex was half as accurate but no one envys a Casio. My gripe with the watch is night time viewing, the hands "glow" are the same color in the dark as the the numbers and only the tips light up so one can't tell the time with out the light kind of defeats the purpose of a glow in the dark watch. Otherwise a good watch and not a good enough reason to return it. Bought it on Amazon fo $80.

This is a nice watch if you have excellent vision. The hands are visible enough, but the secondary dials are nearly invisible, especially when a hand gets in the way. It functions as advertised.

All the basic functions and they work well. The sync function with the atomic clock was a bit tough to figure out at first but I got it. The light could be a bit brighter too.

OK watch. Charging very well. However, atomic sync did not work even once. I tried it many places without any luck so far.

If you are getting used to big watches and want to feel the presence of a wtach on your wrist..this watch is not for you. I just received it today..and when I opened it..I said..'thats it?"..It's small..it's even smaller than my Timex Ironman watch...It's bracelet is nothing to brag about..very plastic-feel to it, and feels very very cheap. However, I am sure and certain the watch is a great piece . I read most reviews and in fact the reviews sold me, except it is too small for me. I don't feel it on me and I thought it would be bigger from the image and ruler size next to it. I have a hard time seeing the digital info. the light up is horrible..reminds me of the first ironman watches that the light came out from the side...so this watch went back in the box and is being sent back tomorrow...

I think I'll be looking at the larger casio watches or sunnotos

I purchased this as a gift to my brother. I thought it was a delicate tin box like shown in the product description page. However, what I got was a cheap card board box. A big difference for a gift. Maybe they began downgrading the packaging to reduce the cost. I don't know. But I just don't like it. And if this is true, the picture should be removed to avoid causing confusion.

Anyway, the watch itself is beautiful, and as others said, there was a "wow" effect when you saw the watch just self synchronizing itself right after the box was opened. Size is good for people with not so big (strong) wrist. The core was from Japan and the watch was cased in China. Never got much chance to test as I decided to return. Thumb up for Amazon's return policy, even covering the return shipping.
