5.0 out of 5 stars Betcha can't buy just one!
For the price you can't beat the quality of sound. I wasn't sure just what to expect, but am very pleased with the sleek design and sound. the bass boost option is nice. My husband was so impressed with it he immediately asked me to order him one to use at his job!

2.0 out of 5 stars Don't purchase this boombox.
The only decent feature on this stereo is the CD player, which works OK, as far as load speed and all. But everything else on this machine is ... and poorly made... the tuner recieves 3 different frequencies at one location on the knob, and is useless, because there's no way to isolate just one station. The buttons and knobs are cheap, and ill responsive. The sound is...

The sound is tinny and very poor, unless listening 5 feet directly in front of the speakers. The stereo itself is bulky and unattractive, and takes 6, count'em, 6 D cell batteries to operate,..

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every dollar!, July 26, 2001

This little boombox is well worth its price. CD's sound great with the bass boost on and the radio gets very good reception. You can also record your CD's on to cassettes. The one button CD control makes this boombox great for all ages.

2.0 out of 5 stars Feels and Looks Cheap, October 3, 2001

The knobs seem barely attached. The CD controls are awkward and unclear. The sound is - at best - average. For the price, this is a poor deal.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Sound for the Money!, September 28, 2001
This review is from: Casio CD312SBSR CD-Cassette Boombox With AM/FM Radio (Silver) (Electronics)
My giant, unwieldy, wickedly heavy, Sony boombox finally died so I bought this one and not only is the size so much more convenient, but the style is so much sleeker and is light as a feather.

The sound quality is pretty good for the money but it is a little tinny sounding at times. Nice cassette deck, records actually very well.

Overall I give it 4 1/2 stars. If you are looking for good bass and very rich sound, pass on this one, but if you just need something to play in the bathroom, kitchen or carry around outdoors you can't beat the quality and the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Colorful good quality, August 20, 2000
A Kid's Review
This product is well designed by pure white and very good quality sound with 1.7W per channel. Also we can operate all cd function by one round key, which is very much convenienet.

I think this is the best choice for personal use as well as gift item.

2.0 out of 5 stars bad reception, March 20, 2002

It seems nice, for the price... but I feel that the radio's reception is not very good. As you walk closer to it...the station fades out.

The cd player tends to stop spinning at times, interrupting the song.

Maybe as a gift for a child who doesn't have one, this may be nice, but for an adult that wants quality, I recommend a radio with digital stations instead of the tuner.

This compontent sounds like something I got as a child and thought it was cool at that time. In the 60's... but I can go to any store here in Portland Oregon and buy something cheaper and sounds ALOT better for cheaper.... Sorry Amazon... But I will still buy from you cause you are a GREAT COMPANY... BUT NOT THIS ITEM...OK...

4.0 out of 5 stars A fine boombox.... ( for its price....)., November 26, 2001
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a nice boombox. Really cheap and the sounds it produces are first class (I listen to classical music and having great sound is a must...). There are of course certain feature missing ( like the timing ) but for this price.... Anyway I would recommended it without any hesitation...

Everything operates perfectly for me. Great station selectivity
and station separation on AM/FM. Nice sound for size.
