This is one fantastic watch. It's built like a tank, like the lengendary DW-5000 from 1983. The functions are very basic--time (12hr, 24hr), alarm, timer (24hr), and stopwatch. Nothing more, nothing less. Actually, there's more. It's a screwback!

If you're looking at this, you might be a watch nut. If you are, buy this watch. You won't regret it. If you're not, please move on, so someone who can appreciate this watch gets a chance to buy it.

This watch is very hard to put the back light on.

When the light does go on,you see this red image under the letters and numbers

that makes the important info hard to see.

Way over priced for a G-shock.

This makes my 4th G and it is the worst value out there.

I sincerely regret buying this one.

This is the first limited edition G-shock I've purchased (since it was recently on sale for almost half off), leading me deeper into a my love of Casio G-shock watches. Upon opening the very cool 40 Acres and a Mule packaging, you come to the rather plain looking watch inside. It has Spike's signature stamped on the screwback and the 40 Acres and a Mule logo appears when you hit the illuminator. It has no extra features/functions, its just the classic watch with Spike's name on the back and the "40A" logo when it lights up. I like it, I like Spike Lee, this is a perfect combo for me, but there are flashier limited editions around.
