While this watch may have all the same features and toughness as the classic Casio Men's G-Shock Classic Digital Watch #DW6900-1V; it is more of a fashion piece than rugged, go anywhere watch.I didn't know when I ordered it, but instead of just matte black, the bezel and strap are shiny. The green display is a bit difficult to read at certain angles, this may annoy some people who wear this as an everyday watch.

I got into G-shock's within the last year or so , This is a plus to my collection , especially with the fact that I can interchange my extra bezel's that i have for the 6900 series. It's tough , sleek and smooth at the same time. I definitely recommend it to anyone's collection or as a everyday watch
