I bought this from Amazon about a year ago; I have to say that it is good quality and so far reliable as any other Casio watch would be.
The carbon fiber face gives it a 3-D appearance in brighter light that has drawn comments but when people find out it's a Casio, they just say "oh...". I wouldn't think this would bother you since you're looking at a review of a Casio right now.
Build quality is solid. The back is not like other lesser metal Casios with screws; this is all steel with a screwback design (the entire back screws on) like most Seikos.
I've had mine long enough to know it was a good deal with no regrets.

This watch looks amazing and works fine as well. Only reason why i wouldnt give it 5 stars is because it does not have light for dark environment. The radium that the hands have do no glow for a long period of time not does it get charged under normal cfl lamp. So if you come home and sit under the lights for a few mins say half an hour and then enter a dark room, you will not be able to read the watch till you switch on the light. Dosent seem much in this scenario but will be irritating in movie theatres, travelling at night, etc...

This is a very interesting watch; retrograde display is especially intriguing. It is also beautiful; a surprise for someone who has worn G-Shock watches for most of his life (that would be me).
Watch was received in new condition (as advertised) in a timely manner. It was DOA, but was revived with a properly installed battery. The Vendor was prompt in replying to my e-mail about the problem, and refunded the cost for the battery and installation in due course.
Watch keeps great time (compared to Waveceptors I usually wear to work). It is a little more work as you have to set it from time to time to bring the date in line, but it is a great watch. I am happy with my purchase, and recommend the Amazon Marketplace vendor without reservation.

This watch is my first Casio Edifice watch, I've had it for about 4 years now, and for most of its time with me, it was my only watch, so my review will be a long term and extensive one. I bought this watch at a shop and it really stood out among most of the watches there. I immediately noticed it and whether it was on a display case with several other watches, or worn on the wrist, it's indeed a looker. The carbon fiber face really stands out, and accented by the shiny borders of the subdials. The contrast of the white numbers and the logo really stands out in the black backdrop and the carbon fiber. Add in the red accents on the hands, and it completes the look of being a very sporty yet classy looking watch. The case measures around 41mm without the crown and has a normal non screw down crown.
During those four years I've had the watch, it had its ups and downs, mostly due to fog issues. I noticed that the dial had bit milky appearance, not so much that I really noticed that there was something wrong. I probably just got used to it being like that, until I didn't notice the carbon fiber anymore. So I had it serviced. Then there was the marvelous carbon fiber face again. It probably was a poor servicing of the watch, because it fogged up again after a few months, so I brought it to another watch service center, and they only charged me a few dollars for the service. It's been fog free since then. I'm not sure if it is a common problem of this model, or maybe its because of the humidity in the Philippines, but hopefully, the recent service would do the trick. Apart from that, I've had no other issues with the watch, but it is a deal breaker if the watch fogs up again. It's probably an isolated case, so it really shouldn't deter anyone from buying it. Personally, I would still buy it again if I had to.
The stock bracelet it comes with is also very good. Solid links and even the end links are solid, and comes with a safety lock in the clasp. It doesn't pull hair and has a nice weight to it, more on the heavy side compared to my other Edifice models. The bracelet has a combination of brushed steel and shiny accents, so after years of daily use, the scratches are really unavoidable. Problem is, you can't polish it because the brushed part would become shiny. So I replaced it with a black leather band with red stitching and had perforation, that completed it's racing look for me. Overall, the watch has had a long history with me, and it had issues, but still is one of my favorite watches and it hasn't lost its unique look from the carbon fiber that made me buy it in the first place.

dead after 2 weeks. I have not changed the battery yet to see if that is the problem oor not. I have always before good luck with all Casioo products in the Past. I liked most every other thing about tthe watch. Hopefully a new battery will remody the problem.
