Product Description

Casio

With the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.

Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward.

With a stylish and multi-use design, the Casio Edifice Chronograph Watch has a sporty yet elegant look. The silver-tone textured dial features three silver sub-dials and a date display at four O'clock. The silver-tone hands and bar hour markers are luminous for easier night reading. The black seconds hand matches the detailing on the sub-dials, and the 48-millimeter silver-tone stainless steel case and bezel include tachymeter indexes for easy time-to-speed conversions. The fashionable and rugged stainless steel band has a secure fold-over-clasp-with-safety, and the mineral glass resists scratching. Water resistant up to 330 feet, this watch is powered with analog-quartz movement.

I don't really know why I bought this. Basically I was watching an f1 race and saw a bunch of Ediface Ediface Ediface signs all over the track. Or maybe i was playing forza. I don't know. When I was a kid you were in the awesome league if you had a complicated casio watch. I think there was some unfulfilled childhood issues at play or something, but I just felt compelled to own the 'cool casio'.

Its heavy as a brick. The band is solid. I haven't really worn it (I just have a few watches that sit on my desk) but after a year or two its only a few minutes off the time the computer says. (as if thats some authority)

When i sit this next to two tags, a seiko and a movado, the biggest problem i think this one has is a lack of sapphire glass. I already have a minute scratch on this one... where as my tag that I wear daily has smashed into every freaking thing and has absolutely zero phase. I could see that as a potential issue, I think the mineral scratches way too easy.

The watch is very good, but amazon make a mistake. I ordered different color of this watch (steel chronograph), however I got Screw Black. That is the second mistake of amazon, few mounths ago I bougtht a laptop for 1000 $. I realised after first turn on that there isn't SSD hard drive whitch I payed for. They're doing what they want.
