A Good Deal,

This review is from: Casio HR-8TEPlus Printing Calculator with Adapter (Office Product)
Bear in mind this calculator is set-up to do tax work and currency conversions. Nice features if you need them, otherwise, there may be a cheaper alternative, but this one was a great price.

this calculator made it easy to do math, no more confusing numbers on paper and pencil. plus, you don't have to remember everything you did, cuz it prints it out!!!

WARNING: Missing advertised features,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Casio HR-8TEPlus Printing Calculator with Adapter (Office Product)
** Note: Amazon have corrected this product's description to exclude the missing features I complained about in my original review **
The product should have these features advertised in Amazon's product description (a) 400 dpi resolution with 64 shades of gray (b) Powered by rechargeable battery pack and (c) Works with IrDA devices. But the print head is a rotating drum of fixed characters and can't print dots nor gray, it works off a power cube and x4 penlight batteries but does not have an internal rechargeable battery and worst of all, for me, it doesn't have an IrDA port. I can't beam printouts to it from my Treo. Not important to me, but others might need the parallel interface to a PC, it doesn't have one of those either. Amazon quickly sent a replacement when I complained about the missing features -- but it was the same product with all the same missing features. I had to call their unpublished "Amazon" "Customer Service" "number" (Google it) to get things sorted out. They're efficient when you get them on the phone. Complex returns like this are hard to handle via their returns website.
