The Casio KL-8100 gives you the freedom to choose from five print styles and refashion your labels with 356 distinct symbols, including Greek and Russian characters. It's a good fit for advanced label-printer users who want the best of both worlds. The KL-8100 also displays five languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German.
A 2,500-character text memory, auto numbering function, and 74 preset tape formats assist in making the KL-8100 strikingly easy to operate. If extended memory and label storage are concerns, the PC Link software can link your label printer to PCs and Casio organizers.
The Casio KL-8100 comes with a convenient carrying handle and AC adapter. The label printer can also be powered by eight AA batteries.

Casio KL 8100,

This old machine is perfect, I bought a CD printer from casio and like it so much , that I bought this label machine and is as good as the cd printer. Because this machine is old, the PC interface is a RS 232 connector, which is not available anymore with this new computers, so I bought an USB to RS232 adapter, and installed the drivers and then you have to manually assign the port which the program that comes with the machine will use to send info to the label machine. After a while the machine finally worked just like the CD printer .The program included in the package lets you write any type of letter and copy and paste pictures on the label or design whatever you want and then print it, as long it fit on the predetermined space, it will print. So far i've done many prints and it works flawlessly.

This label maker makes labels as good as their $20 machine. If you're buying it for the computer interface, forget it unless your computer can accomodate a "firmy disk" and a serial port. I haven't seen those in ten years.

I've owned 3 different Casio label printers for years, and totally love them. I've never had any problems with them either!
