Casio Men's MTP1165A-1C Silver-Tone Analog Bracelet Watch

I bought this because I needed an affordable, entry-level dress watch for a friend's wedding and didn't want to spend hours (or hundreds of $$$) picking out the "perfect" one.

Accuracy: I've had this for about two weeks and it has kept good time. No problems so far. It's Casio and it's Japanese quartz movement. You really don't have to worry about this.

Looks: Both the band and case are polished (not brushed) stainless steel. It's shinier than in the picture. To give you a better idea, I can easily see my face when looking at the case. I can see my reflection in the band as well, but the image is smaller and more curved. The black dial and hour markings at 3, 6, 9, 12 are sleek and simple. This is clearly not a "busy" dress watch, and that's one of the reasons I bought it.

Dimensions: I bought this watch on Amazon.com, and I was looking at the same picture you're looking at. I still couldn't really tell how big it was. To be honest, in my opinion, it's "men's mid-size." But ignore all that. Here's what my ruler tells me:

* Case width: 1 1/8" (including the crown)
* Case height: 1 3/4" (the case is "forked" at the top and bottom where it meets the bracelet, and I included that)
* Case thickness: 3/8"

Notes:
* The clasp is a folding clasp.
* I can only really hear the watch tick if I hold it up to my ear. Not loud.
* Water resistance: This watch is rated "Rank II," Casio's lowest level water resistance (Rank I: No resistance, II: Water Resist (can handle splashes, rain, etc. but not swimming), III: 50m, IV: 100m, V: 200/300m). I have not tested this, but I'm sure it could handle the rain or hand washing.
* I had to take this watch to a jeweler to have two links removed for $8. No big deal, and it fits great now.

I am impressed. The watch looks terrific. I will recommend this stainless steel beauty to anyone who is looking for a watch of great quality at a bargain price.

Its look good & a pefect gift idea

Everything about this order was perfect. The quality of the watch is outstanding. The delivery was prompt. And the price was fantastic. I could not be happier.

Have had this watch for 8 months. I didn't wear it very often, but it is always accurate. For a cheap price ($16.5), it doesn't look cheap at all.

I've had a watch with a digital readout for over 30 years. I needed a new watch, so I looked for a bargain.

What I want in a watch is first of all water resistant. No, not for deep diving, but rather so I can take a shower or swim while wearing it. Or just be able to sweat without shorting out the watch! This watch fits the bill.

Next, I want a metal watch band with a bracelet (rather than belt buckle) design because I take off my watch several times a day. I do like the band.

I wanted to try a slightly smaller watch (to keep from banging it so frequently). This is a nice size. I also was getting in trouble with inappropriate beeping of my old watch with various alarms and countdown timers. I'm glad this watch lacks all of that "gingerbread".

Setting the time with a stem is a welcome change from those watches that assume you have a degree in electrical engineering in order to push the correct combination of buttons to reset the time.

What I miss is a quickly readable face. I suppose that I'm getting used to it, but sometimes I still "choke" trying to tell at a glance if the clock is saying 7:30 or 8:30, for example. I wish that Casio had put some marks for more than 12, 3, 6 and 9, particularly because of the rectangular face causing me to pause while figuring out the time.

I wish that it was illuminated, since our alarm clock is on my wife's side of the bed (and I'm blind as a bat without my glasses).

It's a good deal for the price, but I wish the face had more hour marks on it.

I love this watch a lot. It keeps good time and is the expected Casio quality. The band adjuster had a bit of a problem adjusting mine though, but it looks nice either way and is great for formal and casual events.
