Set a course for adventure every day you wear this solar-powered Casio Pathfinder Triple Sensor men's digital watch (model PAG80-1V), which includes a built-in digital compass, altimeter, barometer, and thermometer. This extra-large, round watch features large function buttons that are easily accessible even when wearing gloves. The case is made from durable resin, and it's completed by a comfortable polyurethane strap. The digital compass displays 16 directions and has a 5-set memory capacity that captures direction, month, date, and measurements time data. The altimeter measures up to 32,800 feet (10,000 meters) in 20-foot (5-meter) increments, and it can store 50 sets of altitude memory with date and temperature. It also provides a target altitude alarm and graphing capability for target and altitude tendency.

Because it's solar-powered--charging in either sunlight or indoor light--you'll never have to deal with changing the battery. Light enters the watch through the sapphire crystal and dial, and hits a solar cell beneath the dial. Current is created and stored in the battery. The duplex LCD provides two liquid crystal panels, enabling you to select from among different display patterns.

It offers a 1/100-second stopwatch with a 60-minute measuring capacity and elapsed time, split time, and 1st/2nd place time modes. It also includes a yacht timer, which is used to time the start of regattas. The countdown period can be set from 1 to 10 minutes. An acoustic signal is emitted after each minute has elapsed and then once a second for the last ten seconds. Other timekeeping functions include a daily alarm, optional hourly time signal, and 12/24-hour formats. Other features include a comfortable resin strap, scratch-resistant mineral crystal, AfterGlow LED electro-luminescent backlight, and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet).

	Tough Solar Power You don't have to worry about changing your battery again with Pathfinder's solar technology. The battery is automatically charged by light, either direct from the sun or from light sources inside. Watches with this feature have a solar cell and a special rechargeable battery (secondary battery) that is charged by the electrical power produced by the solar cell.
	Altimeter Use the Pathfinder's altimeter to help gauge the time you'll need to reach the summit! The altimeter checks and displays the altitude every two minutes. The graphing function positions you with respect to your target altitude, while alarm alerts you as you approach your mark. You can record up to 40 sets of data with each record displaying the altitude, month, date and time. The measuring range is from -700 to 10,000 meters (-2,300 to 32,800 ft.).
	Barometer Predict changing weather patterns using the Pathfinder's barometer. It takes readings every two hours and stores them automatically. It graphically displays the barometric pressure for the past 30 hours. The display ranges from 260 to 1, 100 hPa/mb (7.65 to 32.45 inHg) with changeovers from hPa to inHg.
	Digital Compass During measurement, the watch displays an angle value, a direction indicator, and four direction pointers, which change dynamically when the watch is moved. After measurement is complete, these measurements are frozen in accordance with the last measurement.
	Thermometer A built-in thermometer displays and checks the temperature every 5 minutes. The display can be converted from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Temperature ranges are from -10 to 60degrees C (14 to 140degrees F).
	Auto Light You'll always be able to read your Pathfinder display, even in total darkness. EL Backlights make the face of the Pathfinder exceptionally bright. The watch also includes an auto light. So when you tilt the Pathfinder toward your face, the EL Backlights automatically light up for night time viewing.

Does everything I need it to. Its big, tough, and takes an accurate compass bearing immediately. Haven't been lost since I bought it. Also, with the solar powered design I was a bit worried that it wasn't going to hold a charge, but it has not dropped below full charge since I took it out of the box, including time spent at the bottom of my rucksack and under my jacket. Good watch.

I have had this watch for little more than 9 month. Its a great watch.
Pros: Solar power, rugged construction, sensors(digital compass, altimeter, barometer, and thermometer), Auto EL Backlight
Cons: you need to take the watch off your hands to get an accurate temperature reading.

The most useful feature, for me, is the auto EL backlight feature. The electro luminescent panel lights up automatically when you angle the watch more than 40 degrees.
