I had high hopes for this watch, but I'm probably going to return it. It seems to do everything I wanted and while I wasn't a huge fan of the overtly ruggedized style, as a work and travel watch I felt it would do the job. My main problem is that the watch looks and feels so cheap, especially for something selling for over $250. The first thing I noticed when I put it on is that something inside the watch is rattling and shaking around and the buttons feel loose and low quality. Even the text on the different buttons seems cheap and the button layout itself, while it's something I might get used to in time, doesn't feel comfortable or intuitive. My girlfriends first impressions of the watch was that it seemed "chintzy" and she didn't like it. I've had $100 rugged watches that performed well and felt sturdy. I'm generally the kind of person who puts function before form, and maybe this performs better than it seems, but it made me felt like I had an old $30 knock-off on my wrist.

I won't speak to the features because they have been covered in other reviews, but you definitely need to read the manual to know how to use this watch and the limitations of the sensor. Overall I still like the feature set and think that it could come in handy as I hike, camp and travel the world. I was also worried that the watch would feel bulky, and it is bigger than most of my watches, but it's also very light and didn't bother me at all on my wrist.

I'm going to take advantage of Amazons generous return policy and order the titanium version since it seems to have a different casing and slightly higher rated reviews. I figure I can always swap in a resin band if the titanium one isn't comfortable, but I'm hoping it will have a higher build quality.

Compass and altimeter didn't work right, sent it back. Other functions seemed gtg, Large but light and easy to wear. Bright back light. Casio hasn't gotten the bugs out of some of these functions yet.

The altimeter can be +/- 100 feet in a day, even if you set the reference point.
If you want to see what the temperature, barometric pressure, or altimeter is in the dark you are out of luck. In other words if you press the illum button after pressing the alt button or baro button the screen goes blank until you get it back into timekeeping mode again.
The sunrise and sunset are a little off because it does not take into account altitude, which makes no sense to me, it has an altimeter.
The compass bounces horribly, if it is not 100% flat the readings can change 180 degrees.
If your eyesight is not the best in the world you will have a horrible time reading the user manual, smallest print I have ever seen in a user manual, literally, I create user manuals for medical devices.
The battery does charge easily, and it does update it's own time, assuming you read and memorize the steps in the user manual.
The theory behind this watch has a long ways to go.

Overall the Watch is just another Casino watch. Good looking with the basic functions, apart from the compass every other function is either the same old thing or just do not work the way I thought it was going to.

Sorry the watch kind of sucked at least to me I know they have made it as small as they could but it still felt bulky to me. The battery would only charge to medium charge as soon as I took it out of the sunlight if it got to high it would lose its charge. The wrist band seamed short as it would only go to the 2nd hole and it was uncomfortable. Sorry but it sucked and I hate to write bad reviews I hope you have better luck with the watch

I couldn't get the included strap to feel comfortable so I returned it. The whole thing looked and felt pretty cheap too.

I am 6'1" and about 190 lbs. So I don't know if my wrist was too big or too small but I literally couldn't wear this watch because it hurt my wrist. I really wanted to keep it because it is way cool
