Songs too loud, no AC power,
This review is from: Casio SA-75
The volume resets to 5 everytime you turn it off/on. And the songs (which my toddler loves to do) are WAY too loud at 5. And the songs are much louder than the keyboard notes. This DOES NOT come with an AC adapter (wall plug) (huh?). You must use batteries or get the not included AC adapter.Sound itself is fine for a kids keyboard.

Great for kids,

We bought this for my son's 5th birthday because he really wants a piano, but we can't buy one just yet. He loves to play other people's pianos so I thought this would be a great filler until we can get a piano. It is a very good keyboard. He really loves it and so do my other kids. It's lightweight so he can carry it. I also bought the AC adapter cord and recommend getting it so you don't have to use batteries. Otherwise, get rechargeables. It is very easy to use because the buttons are color coded so my son can change the instrument, tempo and background if he wants to. My only complaints are: when you turn it on, the default volume is 5 (the highest) and it really only needs to be at level 1 for the player to hear it well. So they have to remember to turn it down every time. The other complaint is that the microphone has no volume control so even if the keyboard is turned down low, the microphone is the same and it can be a little loud if kids are using it. I sometimes just have to take it away if other kids are napping because it drives me a little crazy. And, if you put the microphone right next to the keyboard speakers it gives off feedback that is very shrill - my 3 year old likes to do this! So, my only real complaint is with the volume and that's because I have small kids. Overall, it's a great keyboard for the price, the sound is good and it has lots of options.

I got this keyboard for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it. She loves music and is having a great time making up her own songs using the numerous musical sound effects. It is a great gift for an 8 year-old.

My nine year old is loving this keyboard. I ordered the AC Adapter separately, no problem at all to find it.
