I've said this before, but I think that CASIO has outdone themselves (yet again)! This watch is incredibly cool, incredibly comfortable, and, well, INCREDIBLE!

I bought this after buying the Casio Riseman and I wear both outdoors, but this one shines over the Riseman in looks and size. The functions are similar accept this one has a digital compass. This is one of the toughest watches I own out of 18 G-Shocks and one Suunto. I collect G-Shocks and this is one of the best. I also ordered the Black & Gold version. I've only used the compass function and I think it's very accurate comparing it to the one built into my car. It's been wet on several occasions (mainly during outdoor hikes in the pouring rain) and it doesn't flinch. This is a tough, great looking watch which I wear more than my Riseman.

I must say I haven't worn a digital since I was a young kid. I was looking for something that would stand up to my harsh abuse and still function atleast 5 years down the road. First Casio purchase didn't know what to expect I thought the price was ludicrous for a digital watch ,but I was mistaken. I put it through its paces when I unboxed it required little to no calibrating setting time ect. I immediately put the watch on covered it in dust then I caked mud in all the buttons and face. Left it that way for a good bit went washed it off just rinsed it nothing major. No malfunctions no worries it's built like a tank if you decide to purchase one you won't be dissatisfied. Size isn't a problem neither is weight really comfortable if you have small wrists need not worry it will still surely fit. Buttons are stiff but hell its a tank not supposed to be flimsy and lose. That's all I have to say about it if anything drastic or cataclysmic happens to it (which I highly doubt) I will update my review. Update- Watch is still going strong never went past the "H" for battery level and have used the compass and thermometer. Taking readings is easy and accurate especially if you update your coordinates periodically(best if you use all 3 calibrations true north and magnetic north you'll have to use lat. And long. so hopefully you can find where you're at in relation to those.) Temperature readings are accurate but best when you take the watch off set it out in the shade and wait 20- 30 mins. I'm always in the sun so can't tell you if I've actually drained the battery much. Buttons are now freed up timer and stopwatch work well. Alarms aren't loud but wake me up so they do their job.Read more ›

Dear hunter (for one tough watch),
I am an extreme outdoorsman (eagle scout,) thrill finder, and a man that can't put up with failure. I make my living as a Texas union millwright (machine specialist / plant mechanic) I work 12hrs a day 7 days a week and I go to whatever petroleum/chemical plant that needs fixing.. I had been searching for an "indestructible" watch to keep up with me and my line of work. After about a week of searching i found this gem.. I needed a watch that could take an unimaginable beating and so far I have not removed this watch from my wrist since it came in the mail! To all of you that just have not read the right review or are on the fence about what time piece will be the "best buy" look no more! It looks big and in fact is bigger than most watches but you will acclimate to it sooner than later. The compass, moon phase, and temp. Reading s are spot on. All and all this is the destiny of outdoorsman, military, and anyone that doesn't want to worry about whether or not their watch is going to get hurt...
