I have had geat service with my watch. Keeps great time. Some what durable in my line of work ( County Detention Deputy ). The stop/ pase time Works good. The night light display's a good amount of light when I need it. The alarm setting is on the money for what ever time you set it for. I looked for the longest between this watch and another casio watch. I am glade I choose this one. I have really enjoyed it. I have not found any con's about this watch. When I submitted my order, I thought I would have to wait 3-4 week for delivery. Amazon sent the order and I received it about 10 days.

I bought this Casio W756 watch to replace my almost new Armitron. I like the Casio much better. The Armitron looked good in picture but in real life the Casio is much easier to read the numbers. For example, 10:00 on the armitron looks more like 0:00 because the one and zero are so close together. Also the Armitron has this black circle around the seconds counter that is very distracting. I will give my Casio W756 5 stars and also would buy the CASIO again.

Casio went down hill when they replaced metal with plastic. If you work this thing will break. Plastic all around crystal is not durable. Pure crap. Bought 3 different ones and a slight tap the plastic breaks. Not recommended. I'm disabled and all 3 of my Casio. Watches did the same thing. I bought that brand for years. Don't think I will no more. 3 outta 3 broke. Not good odds.

Before I make any comments on this watch I must point out what I was looking for in a watch. I was looking for a cheap, metal band, and durable watch that could stand up to daily use and some water (like hand washing and all). This watch has met my needs well. I like the metal band because it allows you to make a custom fit by removing links. Doing so was not too hard after a quick YouTube search and I used only tools around my house (a dental pick I think?) and no special tools or trip to a jewelry store were needed. The buttons are really easy to use so setting it is a breeze. Al of the other features, such as stop watch, alarm, and timer are really easy to use and handy. I really like the world lock feature because it lets me easily see what time it is for friends and family in Portugal, I would imagine it would be extremely useful for travelers as well.

Working in the medical field, I wanted a watch that would stand up to frequent handwashings. When I bought it I didn't pay any attention to what its water proof rating was, but one time when I went to the each I totally forgot to take it off. After a couple of hours in the ocean I eventually realized that salt water is probably not the best thing for the watch, but I figured the image was already done and I kept it on. My watch came out of the weekend at the beach with no problems or signs of damage. I cant speak to its waterproofing for diving, but a little water doesn't seem to faze it.

Overall I think this is a good buy. If your looking for a fancy dress watch, its probably not what you want, but for a cheap watch to tell the date and time, along with some other neat features, this is a good bet

I bought this watch because i like the look of metal banded watches and the face of a digital watch, which comes in handy at work.
i get a lot of compliments for the watch looking cool and unique.

This is a great looking watch if you prefer to have a digital face. However, after wearing it for a few months now, I've come to have a few complaints that I can live with.

One is the odd little "Countdown Timer" bar in the middle of the face. It's raised up in such a way that it cuts off the bottom of the numbers when you look at the time. I have to twist my arm a little farther towards myself than feels normal to get a good reading.

Second complain is the light...it's a bit dim and it doesn't have the option to stay on longer if you hold it. You only get the 1.5 seconds of light after you press it and it automatically goes off. My previous watch would stay on if I needed to switch through functions and it's frustrating not to be able to on this one.

Third, the Start/Stop button for the timer is flush with the rest of the face, so it's difficult to press.

Lastly is 2 issues with the face...the glass is curved outward instead of sunk down and/or flat, resulting in it easily scratching. Also, the main face/body of the watch is plastic, painted to look silver, so it scratches easily to reveal the black plastic underneath.

Overall, I would not buy this watch again.

My mother has had the Casio LA670WA-1 and LA11WB-1 watches (Casio Sport Watch Black Dial Stainless Steel Bracelet) for years because of their easy preset countdown timer that allows you to quickly time 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 min, 10 min, etc.

This watch seems to be the best equivalent in a Men's watch to quickly set up timers for your tasks or games. The countdown feature in this watch is incredibly useful for timing work, workouts, games, or cooking.

This is part of a series: Casio W756B-1AV, Casio W756-1AV, and Casio W756D-7AV. (rubber band, cloth band, and metal band respectively).

All of the watches in the W756 series have 9 preset start timers: 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 minutes.

Links to the Casio W756 series website, and Casio's manuals were removed by Amazon, but a quick google search should help.

It takes a couple of button clicks to get to the timer, and it doesn't have the 1, 3, and 5 minute timers, but it has been a fantastic watch.

Would highly recommend this watch for a guy who likes to be able to time things quickly.

Not bad for the price. The band is hollow and feels cheap. If you are looking for a light weight watch to wear all day and not bother you, this might be it.

I like the world time function when traveling. It is very easy to select a city in the new time zone so you do not have to set the watch.

I have owned 4 Casio watches over the years and they just last forever. My previous Casio is still running however some of the mode buttons got hard to press down after about 8 years. This watch has larger mode controls so should be easier to press as the watch gets older.

The biggest problem I had was removing some links from the watch band to make it fit. The newer bands do not use pins like the older bands. The instructions recommed you take it to a watch repair shop to size the band but that would cost more than the watch. The watch instructions do not really show how to remove links from the band. I found a link in one of the reviews that showed how to do it, but was not successful until getting an extremely small screw driver my wife had in a watch repair kit she had. After getting the first link out the others were easy.
