I own many nice watches but I needed a everyday watch that could take a beating. I tend to break the rubber plastic bands, so I decided to give this metal band watch a try. It has worked great and the solar, like my other solar watches work great. The only complaint is that the bands pulls my hair out when I have my hands behind my head while laying down!

This watch is great, don't listen to the idiots who can't figure out a simple watch. It's no more difficult to program than any other watch. The moon-phase is perfect, and the tide phase is great. I NEVER let my watch in the sun to charge and I'm rarely outdoors, and this watch still hasn't dropped into medium power, so that's great! Display isn't difficult to read and watch isn't hard to navigate. Exactly as described. 5 alarms, countdown, stopwatch, etc.

This digital watch is good for its price. Excellent design and its heaviness makes it look like a perfect watch.
Added to this are the features like world clock, 5 alarms, stop watch, countdown timer, moon phase and tide(though not useful to me). The beep after every hour is very loud which sounds great.

The only thing I didnt like is the pale yellow illumination.I thought I would get a green or a bluish glow.
Overall its a good deal.

For the price, this watch has exceeded expectations. I have had it for about 4 months now. It takes about 1 hour to set it all up (helps if you are a computer scientist), including the physical portion of removing 2 links - which proved to be somewhat daunting without the 'correct' tools. The display is good enough for my old eyes and I like the firmness that the metal watch band provides.

This watch is a great looking watch as well as very functional for my lifestyle of fishing tramping, swimming and gardening. Having the moon and tide phases on makes it a perfect accessory for everything I do.

The watch is ok. It's what you read in the description but one thing, it is smaller that the measurement presented.

I've had the problem with the last two Casio watches I have owned, having just had this model fall off my wrist on Saturday. I started with the black, plastic band version of this watch and upgraded to this one because I thought the case might be stainless. The watch is the same with a silver resin case and will break where the pin is secured. It went in the trash can and now I'm shopping for something with a tide function that will last.

Stainless steel watch band, with Casio Tough Solar (solar powered). Fairly simple to program, comes with instructions if you are still stumped. Very practical, good-enough look, and dependable. This does everything I need it to do for me, so I really couldn't ask for anything more. Oh, and it was pretty affordable too. Yeah, buy one, I'm sure you'll really love it.

love it, perfect, too many functions/options if anything, i.e. hard to use, but I know how to check the time and tide, thats all I care about. changed the rigid metal band for a cloth lanyard, much better, lightweight, less cumbersome, now.

I purchased the Casio Men's WS210HD-1AVCF Tough Solar Powered Tide and Moon Stainless Steel Band watch last month. The watch arrived three days before Amazon’s predicted time line. I have to agree with other reviews about the difficulty adjusting the band length and the wrist hair pulling of the stainless band design. I shaved my wrist to eliminate the problem. I noticed that some of the $200 to $300 Casio Pathfinders had the same band design and recommend that Casio find another design that will eliminate the wrist hair pulling before I consider one of the higher priced metal band watches. I like the watch with the Tough Solar feature and would have liked to have the Atomic option built into the watch, but it has gained only about 10 seconds during the month and it is easy to synchronize with another Atomic clock that I own. The numbers that are displayed for the month and date could be a little bolder for older eyes. The blue color that appears on the web site is not accurate. The color is dark navy blue on the watch I received. I put a protective film over the face of the watch as recommended in other reviews to avoid scratches. I am hoping that the solar feature will keep the case seal intact to promote extended watch life. I don't use the Tide function in Iowa and the Moon Phase feature was accurate out of the box. I like the Power Saving setting during sleep time and the watch springs to life as soon as a button is pressed or bright lite hits the solar collector. I like the 13 millimeters case thickness; it's slimmer and not as bulky as some of the others designs. It fits under a long sleeved shirt cuff with ease.
