5.0 out of 5 stars Great watch and excellent service
Love the Watch and it's accuracy. Very attractive whether for casual or dress.

Was somewhat confused how to adjust the metal band as there were no instructions.
Contacted Casio and they promptly e-mailed adjustment procedures. Problem solved.

First time purchasing from Amazon.com and was very pleased. Amazon shipped very promptly.

3.0 out of 5 stars Casio Waveceptor
The watch band is sized for a giant. It requires special tools to adjust. It is not the old-fashioned pin system. Now, I am looking for a jeweler.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Watch!, July 12, 2009
This review is from: Casio Men's WVA109HDA-7AV Waveceptor Atomic Watch (Watch)
I've had mine for a year now. It's really cool to always know exactly what time it is. :)

It has held up really well. I wear it about every day, and I'm pretty easy on it, but it still doesn't have any visible scratches on it.

It's been a great watch!

Needed new everyday watch. Intrigued by auto-update capability. Had a Casio watch years ago. Price was good - ordered it. Vendor delivery was beyond commitment, but watch DID arrive A-OK.

Manual is TINY (tiny) print, yet thorough. Functions become routine with practice, practice...

Am pleased with this watch. Glad I found it in Amazon's offering. Checked Casio's site to confirm spec's and then ordered.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great Idea, Poor Quality, September 3, 2010
This review is from: Casio Men's WVA109HDA-7AV Waveceptor Atomic Watch (Watch)
Previously I owned a Casio waveceptor for ~4 years (2 batteries) until the plastic case broke at the metal band pins. I liked the atomic accuracy, analog face and digital time functions (stopwatch etc.) so I shopped for a second waveceptor in this model. But when it arrived, the battery was dead. Normally a battery should last a couple years so a DOA battery was surprising for a "new" product. I replaced the battery at a cost of about $12, but after 3 months, again the battery was dead. I attribute the short battery life to excessive current draw caused by a manufacturing defect in my particular watch. Similar technology is used in other waveceptor models so beware.

At a price of ~$50 for each waveceptor I feel that a better deal is a $17 Casio Ana-Digi AW80D-1AV watch of similar construction. I can live with just 15 sec./month accuracy and having to manually set the time twice yearly.

This is the finest watch that Casio makes!
The easiest to read (the face is light!)

4.0 out of 5 stars had watch 1 month and it stopped working, sent back for repair, February 15, 2010
This review is from: Casio Men's WVA109HDA-7AV Waveceptor Atomic Watch (Watch)
12/18/09 I bought this watch for my husband as a x-mas present. It was just what he wanted. On 2/3/10 it stopped working. I sent it back to the seller for repair (as they suggested)on 2/6/10 and have not heard anything back yet as of today 2/15/10. I have high hopes because they were so nice when I called on the phone.

I really don't like the look of this close up. Wore it for a few days and it's been of since.
