Editorial Reviews

Digitally remastered edition of the Venom classic, a genuine metal event in it's day - from the classic Venom line-up of Cronos, Mantas and Abaddon reuniting for a remarkable new studio album. This expanded reissue also includes the bonus set of revamped classics available with some copies back in 1997 plus the five-track EP with which the trio announced their reunion the previous summer.

I actually bought this cd already knowing what i was Getting... the Cronos - Mantas - Abbaddon Venom is a guarantee of excelent raw metal music. but when i heard the bonus CD it became my personal automatic favorite. all of the versions are fantastic, and specially the slow/raw/powerful version of "Welcome to Hell", wich became, for my taste, the best version of the song i've heard since the original.it had never sounded so great, even in the live albums..

About the Cast in stone CD, it's really good enough, a little tiring in the middle, but it doesn't dissapoint any venom fan. Evil One is one of my favorite songs of al times too, and i enjoyed both versions.. if you really like Venom, and if you share the old-times-were-better-times feeling, then listening to these new versions of Venom Classics will make your blood boil just like the day you listened to your first venom song..

This album is one of the best albums Venom have ever released. I wonder why there aren't many revieews since its a very good album. Its very loud and heavy. I believe that this album with Black Metal are their best snt the albums any new to Venom should star .(Or buy the In memorium which is their best of in the <<old times>>. . I recommend this album to anyone who likes thrash metal and extreme metal.

this is one of my favorite venom albums, its heavy and sounds great in a good stereo system. in classic venom style they give you a thrashing for awhile then give you a break before thrashing out again. its a good album for new fans to get an idea of the style they had, fans of old venom may not like it but i think venom is a lot better than slayer.

Awesome album from start to finish plus even better re-recorded/live versions of Venom classics like Black Metal and Welcome To Hell. Excellent set right here \m/
