Product Description

Screen multiple samples on a single agarose gel in less than half an hour. The D3-14 system can run up to 200 samples (D2 system can run up to 80) simultaneously on a single gel, producing clear, tight banding patterns with no "smiling." Unique electrode placement increases the rate of gel runs without compromising the resolution. The systems are ideal for PCR products, plasmid preps, restriction mapping, and cloning. Systems incorporate the EasyCast design, wherein each side of the gel tray is fitted with a gasket, which allows the tray to fit snugly into the casting chamber. A leakproof seal is achieved without using tape. Built-in leveling ensures the casting of flat, uniformly thick gels. Sample loading is enhanced using microwell format combs designed specifically for use with these systems. Samples may be loaded directly from a 96-well plate, 8 or 12 wells at a time.
