Bought this book without knowing anything about it since there were no reviews or descriptions (just buying books by this author) so my review isn't very fair on that basis. Only really read the first chapter --- widow with hellish first marriage finally free and trying to help out her brother who is in trouble. Anyway, here's the synopsis from the back of the book:

At long last she was returning home. Isabel could hardly wait to see her beloved Scotland again.
