Editorial Reviews

Review

"In a world where a talent for magic is taken for granted and wordplay is the preferred mode of expression, pity the poor investigator who must check out spells and enchantments as well as the more mundane sorts of clues. The story is fast-moving and funny, and don't even try to guess whodunit." - Barbara Paul, author of Kill Fee and He Was Already Dead When I Got There --This text refers to the Kindle Edition edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another wild and zany adventure by John DeChancie!, November 9, 1998
This review is from: Castle Murders (Paperback)
I really enjoyed this book. I thought this book is as well written as the earlier castle books he wrote. Also in this one he puts an added twist that lead me to want to continue until the very end.

3.0 out of 5 stars Solid Performer., March 7, 2002
By
Blaine Christian (South Park, PA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Castle Murders (Paperback)
While not the best of the series, Castle Murders is far from the worst and for any self-respecting fan a must read. Presented with the same wit and pacing as the other books, Castle Murders offers a subtle but not unplesant deparcher from the other seven books.

Filled with twist and turns, both obvious and devious Castle Murders is a typical Castle Perlious book....just a lot of fun to read.
