About the Author

The author of Castles of Spain is Sterling H. Hays. Sterling was born in Rome, Italy in 1961 and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Classical Archaeology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984. In 1993, Mr. Hays received his Master of Arts Degree in Middle Eastern Archaeology from the University of Texas at Austin. Sterling has been employed in both the private and public sectors and has fourteen years experience as an Archaeologist in the Near East and in Texas. Mr. Hays has most recently completed a five year tenure as an Archaeologist for the State of Texas. Sterling Multimedia Productions, LLC. was co-founded in 1997 by Mr. Hays and his wife, Maria Jose; to develop Educational and Travel/Adventure related multimedia projects on topics from around the globe.
