Product Description
The special process that is used to make Play Dead Herbal Collars infuses the essential oils in the beads of plastic before the plastic is molded into the collar. This results in the oils being spread throughout the collar for an even and safe application. The release of these oils is slow and controlled. We do not recommend direct application of oils to the skin or oral ingestion.

I've used this for my dog and given multiple of these away to other dogs. It has a great herbally smell and is long lasting. Seems to do the trick (and the dog smells heavenly!). It is a great natural product for your pet...I have a small dog so when I clip the collar I take the excess and use it to freshen up the car.

We had to discard these collars after a few days. The odor was very strong. They were not a good choice for our 4 small breed dogs who often join us on the couch or sit in our laps. The collars may very well be good at keeping bugs off and may be more acceptable on an outdoor dog, but they are not a good fit for our household.

My dogs have been wearing the collar for about 2 weeks and no problems with fleas or ticks but it is still early in the season (April 1st today)so time will tell. I was worried that my dogs would hate the Herbal smell but they didn't mind it at all. Even if it doesn't help with pests, They smell nice so I think you can't really lose on buying the product since it doesn't cost much. It's worth the try and better than putting that horrible poison on their neck. I wouldn't put poison around my neck so I'm not putting it around my pets.
