I read this book with my 8 year old son over several nights. He laughed so hard he almost fell off his bed at hearing some of the scenes depicted in this book. Great for kids with imaginations! Highly recommended!

This fast-paced story combines humor and adventure in a way that's easy and fun to read. The details show that the author has watched real cats (and real humans) with sharp -- possibly see-in-the-dark -- eyes. Incidents of casual daring and contemporary touches of boyish interest alternate with flashes of surprisingly mature wit and psychological insight. Written with a natural voice and an original point of view, Cat Boy should encourage aspiring writers of all ages. If he's this inventive at 11, I can't wait to see what Steven Fiedler will offer us at the more mature age of 12 or 13.
