We love making cards using the pictures in this book.
I let my daughter pick a quote from "516 Sensational Cat Quotes, Proverbs, Quips and Jokes for Scrapbooking, Crafting and Fun" and we put a quote with one of her drawings or as we call them "Masterpieces".
I know I will keep our projects for years and so will her Grammy!

The appearance of the breeds of cats are outstanding. The drawings of each breed are incredibly accurate. I am an artist and greatly appreciate the the care and love another artist shows in their work. The breed profile under each drawing teaches my daughter so much more than she would ever retain from my just reading and showing her the photographs from a typical book. She is more intently focused on what she is learning. Since the drawings are so realistic she tries harder at coloring better and her artistry has improved immediately from the first page she colored. I can't express how important realistically drawn animals are to a child. They experience the world through what they see, and express it through what they draw. This book has built up my daughter's confidence in her ability as an artist and that has increased her self confidence in herself at many things. I can't wait to see other books I have ordered and ones I have yet to purchase. Thankyou, I have been waiting a long time to find such wonderful books as these.

I bought my daughter this book because she loves animals and wants to color them all the time but we couldn't find a book anywhere but here that might fit and satisfy our needs. When the Cat coloring book arrived my daughter imediately ran to her room and returned with a box of crayons. The book was placed on the table as not to damage it in any way and she went right to coloring. My daughter was and is tired of coloring cartoon type figures in coloring books and wanted more. This book exeeded both of our expectations by far. I have never seen such detailing in a coloring book. The realistic drawings are very important to a child. She enjoys coloring more. This book also features a profile of each breed under the picture. We are very happy with this book. Thankyou. Sincerely Eileen

I was delighted with this book. It has a wondeful variety of cats. I can hardly wait to share this with my grandchildren. We like to draw so it will be fun to copy these cats.

My 5-year-old daughter loves cats and she loves to color, so her liking this coloring book was not a surprise. We came upon this coloring book (and a similar one)at a restaurant we visited, where they had cut out pages from this book. This restaurant is now called the Cat Restaurant.

So when I found this book, I ordered it for special occasions.

The outlines are not thick and finite--always connecting to something. The drawings are pretty and dainty, with lots of lines used for detail and not forming shapes. This is good because you don't have to stay in the lines (can't really in many instances) and there is the freedom to color, say, rainbow kitties. But if your child must have definition and needs to know where to stop drawing, this may not be the best option. This is not a traditional coloring book.

I wasn't sure if this coloring book would be appealing to children, but I gave it a shot--and my 5-year-old visitors spent an entire afternoon being amused by it. A good buy!
