5.0 out of 5 stars The cats LOVE IT!
This is actually my second "Mouse in the House". The cats wore out the first one, and I just recently found the "remains" of the first mouse. I would recommend buying a pack of two extra mice. They haven't torn this one up...at least not yet. When the cats are interested in this entertainment is is quite funny to watch them try their best to get that mouse. We came...

2.0 out of 5 stars very loud motor

I bought this toy earlier in the month for my indoor-only cat. My cat loved playing with it the first week, although she never went crazy with it like other cats did as seen on the web videos. Two weeks later, the motor got extremely loud and high pitched whenever the mouse would make its run on the track. I checked the mouse and the track and found nothing abnormal or broken. The motor noise has gotten so bad now, my cat refuses to go near the toy when it is on.

Unless your cat is immune to loud noises, I cannot really recommend this toy to fellow cat lovers unless the company comes out with a better, less noisy and more durable motor (especially at this purchase price).

We came home from work and found the thing darn near upside down!! I recommend it for all spoiled cats (smile).

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Concept BUT total Lack of Quality, March 20, 2009

I have two 5 month old kittens who absolutely love this little gadget, however after only two short days the mouse would no longer stay on the track. There's a door you can open in the back to re-attach the mouse, however having to do this 4x a day isn't convenient. The motor is loud, the electronics get messed up and you have to switch the unit off and on to get it to work. Needs improvement and price is too high. Customer Service is excellent and very helpful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cat's Watching, December 15, 2011

This toy is OK so far but cats quickly losing interest. One figured out the red button in about 20 seconds, the other cat just watches. Hoping they'll find some interest in the mouse. Boots who figured out the red button ASAP continues to hit it through out the day. Now Little Bit knows what to do to and she'll hit it when it's her turn. This toy went from OK to pretty cool. A keeper

Have had this toy for two years and my cats still love it! The most fun is that one of my cats know how to turn it on herself and she does so to entertain herself and the other cats love to join her for play. Great toy as it doesn't have to involve me!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!!!!!!, November 21, 2010

My cat loved this toy so much he wore it out! At first he needed some encouragement on how it worked but then he learned how to turn it on himself. I've bought 2 of these toys because they keep my cat so entertained!
Word of caution though, make sure you supervise your cats with this toy because I accidentally left it plugged in and came home from work only to find it upside down with the mouse still attempting to run on its track which may have worn out the motor because 2 weeks later the motor failed. Its a little pricey but worth it if you can afford it.

2.0 out of 5 stars bad motor, September 27, 2010
This review is from: Mouse in the House Cat Toy (Misc.)
My kitties loved this toy. However, the motor goes out. I have bought 3 of them, and all three had the same problem. It worked well for a while, and the motor died. They lasted about 2-3 months. Wish they would improve the motor as it is a very interactive toy and they all played with it.

2.0 out of 5 stars My cat isn't interested, December 18, 2009

I thought my cat would like this. She catches real mice when they sneak inside the house. She loves Panic Mouse Undercover Mouse and Panic Mouse 360. However, this really doesn't interest her much. The motor is very loud, which doesn't bother her, but annoys me. I think my cat isn't interested because the mouse moves at a constant, slow speed. You can set a timer to regulate when the mouse comes out, but you can't vary the speed.
