Although the CD release date may be recent, the same content was released as an LP much earlier. 1960s, or 1970's for the copy in my house growing up. The songs are still great - whimsical, memorable, and singable.

This one is a keeper.

Even 30 or 40 years later, you will remember them. Great for singing on the beach in the wee hours of the morning as a counterpoint to military drinking songs.

Great little songs for little ones. Rhyming helps them to remember and Dr. Suess is fun as well as educational.

This album features songs written by Dr. Seuss and sung by a male/female chorus. The songs are short and feature minimal instrumental backing. They were originally published in a book also called The Cat in the Hat Songbook. The album was recorded circa 1967. This is a fun album that will appeal to kids, especially if they have the book so they can sing along.
