What a bargain I got with this used book purchase! This book is listed on the internet at one of THE best cat applique books. It has 37 cat templates, each one reflecting a different cat pose.
This 8 x 11 paperback book came far faster than the stated shipping time. The front cover page has minor crease marks at the edges; however, the pages inside are perfectly clean. Thank you, Seller! I am one very satisfied customer!

If you want templates for realistic cats, this is the book for you. The word "quilts" in the title is a misnomer! There are only a few pages in the entire book about quilts. The majority of the book is filled with page after page of templates. There are only about 22 pages in the beginning of the book dedicated to crafts. If you are a novice in sewing or crafts, this isn't the book for you. There are very few illustrations and those are not great quality - hard to figure out exactly what is what. The instructions are extremely short and very limited. Only an experienced crafter who LOVES realistic images of cats will find this book useful.

Only thing I ever made out of this was an appliqued sweatshirt--fuzzy side out.

Easy. It looked good after I finished. I wore it for years.

Fortunately it didn't look anything like her samples.

And that is why I only gave it 4 stars. I loved her cats, I hated her fabric choices.

Not the first time this has happened. And that's better than the other way around, where the pictures are dazzling, but not really usable.

Wonderful patterns that even a new quilter will not be intimidated by. A wonderful addition to any quilter's library. Highly recommended!

If you love to make things with your hands and love cats or know someone who loves cats, this is a great book. Lots of projects.

You'll purr with satisfaction over these 37 full-sized, ready-to-use templates of kittens and cats to create original designs for decorating and gifts. There are categories for hand or machine crafting at any level of expertise.

I've recently taken an interest in making quilts, and had been looking for a book of patterns with realistic cats. This is exactly what I was looking for, and more! Full pages of cat patterns to trace are clear and well-done, but the book also has project instructions and suggestions for using the patterns in a number of projects.

Additionally, there are tips on stitches, layouts, and how to quilt. I'm so glad I bought this book, and I highly recommend it for anyone who loves cats and quilting.
