It may be listed as a cat5e cable, may look like a cat5e cable, and possibly transmit like a cat5e... But it's not. You see inside the wires are not in twisted pairs for balancing as per UTP CAT standards. There's just eight loose wires run parallel in the casing. I found this out the hard way after running it thru a conduit and it didn't function. Clearly the substandard wire is far more prone to breakage than true cat5e UTP. You get what you pay for... Lesson learned:(

It's cheap, works and you get what you pay for.

This cable is sub-standard.
Every thing about it is cheap.
It works but I don't expect for long unless you never touch it.

Over all it will serve it's temporary purpose.
It is a step above paper.
