I order from Amazon almost weekly, but have written only a couple of reviews. Most of the time, Amazon is great. BUT....
I carefully selected RiteAV cables because they are pictured with clip covers so they would not break when pulled through tangles of other wires. These cables have no protection on the clip so the slightest snag will break the clip and render the cable useless. I'm very disappointed, but it's not worth the hassle to send these back. Amazon should be ashamed of misrepresenting their products. In addition to these short cables, I bought other lengths and all have the same problem.

I agree with most reviewers, high quality cable with solid plugs. Wanted to connect my modem to my new D-Link Ethernet switch, (that sit side by side) and the shortest cable I had was 6ft. Saw this 1ft cable, for next to nothing, ordered it and it was here in a soft pack in my mailbox in seven days. Total cost $3.03. I'll take that.

FYI, I read some complaints about it not being actually one foot in length, so I measured, it is 10 inches, not including the plugs.

If you want a close connect ethernet cable, this is your boy.

I bought this cable to connect my modem to the router. Cat6 is overkill for an only 20mbps conection, but I like to have the highest quality products on my network. This cable is sturdy and seems like it could take some abuse.

These cables are worth every penny. They are of the highest quality. I was surprised by the quality considering the price. I shopped around and these cables are better than some I have bought for twice the price.

I bought this cable as my modem and router are adjacent so the 5 footer that came with the router was a bit of overkill. The cable seems a little shorter than a foot, which is fine. The quality is good, it was shipped extremely fast. Even with shipping it's cheaper than purchasing it at a box store.

Make sure you plug in both ends. Warning- this cable does not work if the devices are more than a foot apart!

It's hard to find a short, quality Ethernet cable... if you need one (e.g., for making a connection in wall box) this is your product

I upgraded our home network and ordered two of these one foot CAT cables to connect my modem to my router, the other to connect the router to a switch. All three components sit next to each other so these one foot cables is all I needed to connect them each other. Connectors were ok, cables in good condition. Not much else to say, your basic CAT cable. Ordered them and within one week I received them, so shipping was speedy as well. I would recommend to others.

Worked out well to eliminate a jumble of cables behind my router. I eliminated two six foot cables to give me a more professional look and make it easier for me to work in that area.

These twelve inch Cat6 ethernet cables are well constructed. The connectors make a firm connection and all worked on the first try. These short jumpers were used to connect wireless bridge to AV equipment inside the AV cabinet, so no cable spaghetti in the cabinet.
