Cataldo amodei was a baroque composer, but seldom know it. I mean seldom is because that I never get his messages from baroque music history book. so I want to try it. Of course is also I am an fan of Kirkby, and got good listenning experience from his Bingen and Bach.
In fact, I am never disappointed in this disc, and how a beautiful music Kirkby sang like an angel, it shows more italy cantata facts, includes soft, lyric and theatrically.
I listen it again and again and I believe you would like it if you also get it.
