Mid-wheel drive allows for tight 18" turning radius, making it ideal for indoor maneuverability. Programmable controller with common connectors are easy to service and set up can be personalized for individuals with special needs. Adjustable length controller mount can be affixed to either the left or right armrest and can be fitted with an optional swing-away arm for additional flexibility. Flat-free non-marking tires offer no-service, worry-free travel. Motor assemblies offer easy clutch operation, allowing the chair to be placed into "freewheel" mode, which can be helpful for transport.Standard Captain's Seat swivels and features a fold-down backrest with 25 degrees of recline and an adjustable height headrest. Seats are height adjustable from 20" to 23". Removable armrests with adjustable height and width are great for positioning and support and are adaptable to size and need of user. Flip-up armrests allow for easy transfers and access to client without having to remove the arm assembly. Padded arm rests offer comfort plus durability. Footplate can be flipped up out of user's way and adjusted in height and angle. Seat back storage pouch, handy storage for any take-along items for user or caregiver. Chair was not drivable when received. It arrived in twelve pieces packed into two boxes. When assembled (note chair weighs over 200 lbs) I found out that chair swerves on ramps and uneven road surfaces and cannot drive up some ramps at all. They refused to send a repairman and as I live in Manhattan that would have been no problem for them. They told me putting in two new batteries would solve everything. I had to pay almost $100 to have two people put in the new batteries and that did not help at all. The power indicator did not function at all and it took a dozen communications and contacting my credit card company just to get My Health Stores to send another power guage and that didn't work either. The merchant and manufacturer supply merchandise that just does not work. Would rate them no stars, if I could!

i purchase this product a month ago it took three weeks to get then use only one week is malfunction i hava not received any help from the company to resolved this issue specialy its hard were i live when there is no service around in my area to do repairs on this a make and model
