Hi, this lamp is badly designed, and poorly crafted. I do not recommend it. First, the electrical cord does not connect at the base like most lamps. The cord comes out from the topmost portion of the connecting ecting fixture, so you will see a good 3 feet of cord dangling from the lamp! Looks awful in the home. This was not pictured in the product description. Next, it comes fully unassembled. Made in China. The longest portion of the stand needs to be screwed together, which leaves it to be unstable. The connectors did not fil together tightly, so now the lamp leans or "bends" in the middle. The return shipping costs and hassle are not worth it. Save yourself the trouble.

Pathetically "crafted" piece of Chinese junk. Vertical tube screws into base in a shoddy way leaving the lamp flimsy and leaning.
