4.0 out of 5 stars Great book for decoding numbers, January 4, 1999
By
This review is from: Catalog of Firebird ID Numbers, 1967-93 (Cars & Parts Magazine Matching Numbers Series) (Paperback)
This book contains vast information on option codes for Firebirds. Alond with this, it includes help in decoding the VIN, body plate, engine numbers, transmission numbers, and axle codes. There are some inaccuracies, but when teamed with the "Firebird Red Book", most can be solved. A must for that numbers matching Firebird.

4.0 out of 5 stars A must have for any enthusiest, March 9, 2006
This review is from: Catalog of Firebird ID Numbers, 1967-93 (Cars & Parts Magazine Matching Numbers Series) (Paperback)
The information presented is great, if you want to know how to decode your VIN, Engine Block, or the Cowl tag then you must have this book. I have used it in reference many time when helping others trying to decode their car.

With the help of other books this book is a must have.

There are some minor inaccuracies and missing information but nothing that some research does not clear up.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great book for pontiac enthusiasts, January 24, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Catalog of Firebird ID Numbers, 1967-93 (Cars & Parts Magazine Matching Numbers Series) (Paperback)
This is very much like the smaller Firebird Red Book but has a bit more detailed info. No Facts section like the Red Book.

The best part are the full color pages in the back of the book featuring the 67-93 Paint Colors and Upholstery Fabrics photos.

Larger print than the Red Book makes it a bit larger, 8.5x11". Not tiny print like the Red Book.

Both books together will make you quite the expert.
