Pontiac ID guide,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Catalog of Pontiac GTO ID Numbers 1964-74 (Matching Number Series) (Cars & Parts Magazine Matching Numbers Series) (Paperback)
As a die hard Pontiac owner and restorer, I own numerous books regarding GTO, Lemans and other Pontiac models. It is good to have many books for reference when doing a restoration as you never know when that single photograph of something you need to see is found. I have restored several Pontiacs and I have found information in this ID book which I have not found elsewhere. This book contains color samples for exterior paint as well as interior fabric. I have also found all of the RPO and accessory numbers listed here, actually one of the harder pieces of information to find as well as the more common information regarding engines, transmission and drivelines. Keep in mind that this information is for GTO models and most crosses to the Lemans series although the GTO came standard with bigger engines than the Lemans series which are not listed here. Again, a reason multiple sources of information are needed..
