This is a great reference book for all types of cataloging librarians. Once you figure out that the book is organized by field numbers it becomes easy to navigate. There are lots of examples with brief explanations.

This book explain trough the Cataloging Rules how use MARC 21 for books, elctronic resources, sound recordings, videorecordings and Serials.
Since both MARC 21 and AACR2 has changed in 2006, the catalogers need a new up-to-date guidance to facing to the cataloging. This book is for begginers and expert catalogers. Withing this book, Fritz also helps to create and edit consistently good MARC records. |
