The long-awaited first supplement to the Catalogue of the Goldsmiths' library contains an additions to the collection made since the publication of Volume III. It maintains the high standards of bibliographical scholarship of the former volumes and presents entries by date and subject; it includes its own index. A significant number of important additions has been made. These reflect the range of the literature of economics in Europe in the 17th century to 19th centuries. Volume V will take place its place alongside its predecesors as a standrad bibliogrphical tool and an essential introduction to the world's major resource in the field of Economic Literature.
