I just can't believe I didn't find it sooner! :)
The star ratings for education and such are odd (saying I like it or don't doesn't match up to the question). I gave it 4 stars on education because I like it (love this game) but educational? Uh, probably not. ;D But then, are you really buying this game for educational purposes? No. It's silly, great fun. ;D
I was disappointed because with just two people, it's not very fun. The largest con was that Poo does not come with any tokens to keep track of the pieces of poo. While the lack of tokens might not seem like a big deal, when you are in a hotel playing the game for the first time and have to scrounge forty different little bits of something, you end up not enjoying the game play as much. When at home, you'll have to scrounge up tokens, because there are no poo cards or tokens included in the box.
Again, I only played with myself and one other player. Poo was not as fun as other card games that claim to be good for between two to eight players. Frankly, I enjoyed Squarrels and Loot! better and haven't played Poo again.
Nope, not terribly educational (unless you have an emerging reading who you'd like to give a little extra reading practice to by working out what's written on the cards), not a lot of strategical thinking needed, and rather silly but it is a fun diversion for the kids. My children would likely give it 5 stars, though I'm only going for 4 because most adults I know would stop cracking themselves up silly playing after a few rounds of it
(A) Do you have 8-12 year old kid?
(B) Do you need a quick easy to learn game?
(C) Do you still laugh when somebody says Uranus?
(D) All of the above
If you said yes D then buy the game! If you remotely offended by Poo jokes, look elsewhere. The game is simple to pick up and makes a great activity to do together before bed or when you have 15 minutes of downtime between running off to soccer or dance class. The writing and illustrations are fantastic.
I was able to grab this under $15 here on Amazon, just need to be patient.
The lack of Poo to fling is offset by the low price. We use Nestle Chocolate Chips :)

Poo is a very simple and easy game to pick up, and though some people have said it's best for children, I have not played it with a single child as of yet. Read morePublished on August 27, 2012 by Joolie
The name of this game and the picture drew me to it. So silly! I gave this as a gift to an 11 year old. His Mom told me that he and 2 teenagers had a wonderful time playing it. Read morePublished on December 26, 2011 by P. Chavez
This game is a lot of fun! The concept of flinging poo at your opponents is very silly. I highly recommend this game to anyone with a sense of humor. Read morePublished on November 29, 2011 by M. Blance
Poo is a fun card game that gives you the ability to throw poo at your friends. It's not particularly deep or strategic so it's great for kids and the like. Read morePublished on May 7, 2011 by John
